1/48 Revell P-51

"D"

This is an older Revell USA kit. It has modest detail and looks like a P-51 when it is finished. This is a repop of the older Monogram P-51. My kit did not include decals (purchased second hand)

but the decals in the kit were nothing special, about what you woudl expect for the age of the kit. The kit includes the paper style drop tanks and has the opion of either open or closed

gun bays, although the detail is a little soft.

there are markings for two different aircraft:

"Big Beautiful Doll", 44-72218, 48th FS, 1944

"Miss Marilyn II", 343rd FS, 1944
