1/48 Airfix BAE Hawk

 This is one of Airfix's newer releases and is much better quality than its earlier releases. The model is moderately detailed with engraved panel lines. The only sore point is the plastic has an "orange peel" look to it. This model has many different options: posable flaps and air brake, a choice of armed or unarmed and there is an option for a flare pod on the tail. Weapons include a ventral gun pack, 4 sidewinders and 2 drop tanks.
