1/48 Italeri Spitfire

MkXVI

This is one of Italeri's better kits. The detail is average, and it builds up to look like a spitfire. the plastic is a little rough, so a bit of sanding and a good primer is a must. There are only

clipped wingtips in the kit, but the Tamiya standard tips will fit with very little effort. the lower fuselage/wing seam is a little mangled, but with some patience and time it turns out great.
